Terms & Conditions

1) Laundrymart is not responsible for any defects or damages found on clothing or laundry items that are sent to the store.

2) Complete removal of stains on any clothing or laundry item is not guaranteed. Stains shall be removed upon the item owner’s request and it will be done at the owner’s risk.

3) Customers are responsible for reviewing the number and type of items deposited for dry cleaning/washing/pressing and Laundrymart’s count of items must be accepted.

4) If any negligence is proven, Laundrymart’s liability for loss or damage of any item for laundry or dry cleaning shall not exceed 10 times of the dry cleaning/washing/pressing fees for that item and up to a maximum of $100 compensation for any item.

5) Customers must check their clothing or laundry items and voice their concerns (if any) at the point of delivery or collection of their clothing or laundry items. For items delivered to customers, all claims/complaints on must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery. For items collected by customers, all claims/complaints must be submitted at the time of collection before leaving the store. All claims/complaints must be accompanied by the original receipt listing items. Loss of receipt not reported immediately to the store will be at owner’s own risk.

6) No liability will be accepted by Laundrymart for defects, damages, shrinkage or colour fading arising during treatment which are due to deterioration by wear and exposure or poor quality, workmanship or methods of manufacture.

7) No liability will be accepted by Laundrymart for clothing or laundry items with sequins, pearls, beads, buttons or any accessories which might melt, dissolve, discolour or fall off during and after the cleaning process. Laundrymart will not be responsible for any loss of buttons, ornaments, accessories or additional items that were left in clothing pockets or any part of the item.

8) Laundrymart will not be liable for any delay (for any reason) in collection, transportation or delivery of the item, nor for any consequential or special or indirect loss and damage suffered by the customer for such delays. 9) All clothing or items deposited at the store for dry cleaning/washing/pressing must be collected or claimed within one (1) month from the order date. The store is not responsible for any damage or loss of the items after one (1) month. Items may also be sold to defray the cost of storage and processing.​

10) For cleaning of curtains, Laundrymart is not liable for:

• Any shrinkage, discoloration or distortion as a result of the washing/dry cleaning

• Any damage to the curtains where the fabric has weakened including (but not only) curtains exposed to spotlight, sunlight, moisture and chlorine fumes from swimming pools.

• Curtains with plastic or blackout coating where the coating may blister, peel, self-stick or dissolve.

• Curtains made from lightweight, sheer fabric (eg. organza, silk, lace) or day curtains which are affected by light exposure and have a shorter life-span

• Double-layered curtains which normally have a lightweight fabric sewn together with a heavier fabric.

12) Laundrymart reserves the right to refuse servicing any customer or cleaning any item.
